The NYC Culture Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers opportunities for curators and artists to host exhibitions, free of charge and commission. All shows are open to the general public.

NYC Culture Club has welcomed over 120,000 visitors since opening at the World Trade Center in June of 2021. We have hosted 29 exhibitions featuring 415 artists, 33 curators, and 8 nonprofit partners. We have hosted campaigns on every digital display at the WTC, as well as public art displays on the campus of the World Trade Center in collaboration with the Port Authority of NY & NJ.

The NYC Culture Club was started by brothers Parker and Clayton Calvert and made possible via a partnership with Westfield World Trade Center.

The space is located in the Oculus at the World Trade Center in New York City, on the C1 Balcony Level, South Concourse.

“NYC Culture Club is a safe haven for creatives and curators. The space lends itself to unique and thought provoking exhibitions and is a welcoming setting for new collectors and art enthusiasts. Working with NYC Culture Club was an empowering experience. The art industry needs more programs like this one.”

Mashonda Tifrere, Founder of Art LeadHER

“I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities they have helped me grab hold of, and their endless support in my career growth along the way. “

Michela Roman, Artist

“Working with NYC Culture Club, Parker and Clayton was truly a highlight of my year. They were incredibly supportive and communicative from beginning to end. It is rare to encounter such generosity in the art world.”

Sadaf Padder, Curator

“The NYC Culture Club has filled a cultural void for visual arts at the World Trade Center and provided an unmatched opportunity for exhibition for hundreds of artists in its tenure in the Oculus. My exhibition gave me the opportunity to interact with the diverse community of locals and international tourists who are drawn to the site.”

Todd Stone, Artist

“All too often, arts nonprofits in the city are allergic to aligning and collaborating with one another. This approach, while understandable for certain reasons, does not serve artist and patron communities well. Here at Silver Art Projects in 4 World Trade Center, we have enjoyed partnering with NYC Culture Club on exhibitions and initiatives of mutual interest. Working with Clayton and Parker Calvert has been nothing less than a rising tide that lifts all boats.”

Gregory Alan Thornbury, Ph.D., Silver Art Projects

“NYC Culture Club was the first gallery space that I had ever entered as an exhibitor that didn’t make me feel as though my work was a product being pushed. They always made it clear that the gallery greatly values the artists behind the work and are happy to represent them.”
